The Pretty Reckless - Just Tonight

Le persone vengono nella tua vita per una ragione, per una stagione o tutta la vita.
Quando saprai perché, saprai cosa fare con quella persona.
Quando qualcuno è nella tua vita per una ragione, di solito è per soddisfare un bisogno cha hai espresso.
Sono venuti per assisterti attraverso una difficoltà, per darti consigli e supporto, per aiutarti fisicamente, emotivamente o spiritualmente.
Possono sembrare come un dono del cielo e lo sono. Loro sono li per il motivo per cui tu hai bisogno che ci siano. Quindi, senza nessuno sbaglio da parte tua o in un momento meno opportuno, questa persona dirà o farà qualcosa per portare la relazione a una fine.
Qualche volta loro muoiono.
Qualche volta se ne vanno.
Qualche volta si comportano male e ti costringono a prendere una decisione. Ciò che dobbiamo capire è che il nostro bisogno è stato soddisfatto, il nostro desiderio realizzato, il loro lavoro è finito.
La tua preghiera ha avuto una risposta e ora è il momento di andare avanti.
Alcune persone vengono nella nostra vita per una stagione, perché è arrivato il tuo momento di condividere, crescere e imparare.
Loro ti portano un’esperienza di pace o ti fanno ridere. Possono insegnarti qualcosa che non hai mai fatto. Di solito ti danno un’incredibile quantità di gioia.
Credici, è vero. Ma solo per una stagione!
Le relazioni che durano tutta la vita ti insegnano lezioni che durano tutta la vita, cose che devi costruire al fine di avere delle solide fondamenta emotive. Il tuo lavoro è accettare la lezione, amare la persona e usare ciò che hai imparato in tutte le altre relazioni e aree della tua vita.
Si dice che l'amore è cieco ma l'amicizia è chiaroveggente.
Grazie per essere una parte della mia vita, che sia una ragione, una stagione o tutta la vita.

Prague, here I come!

Hi dears! Tomorrow I set off on holiday, to be more precise a week holiday from 15th of August to 22th. Where I am going to? PRAGUE! A czech friend of mine (Susi) houses me, my boyfriend and my friends. I cannot wait to leave! I'm sooooo excite for that, I've planned this holiday months ago. However, I hope you have a nice summer, see you when I go back. Tak zatím! ;D

Holy Owl

I love what the owl symbolizes. My family loves owls, we collect many small statue of them. (:

In folklore, the owl is a very powerful night bird. The owl represents the second sight. It’s often associate with wizards and diviners. With its eyes peers into the darkness and, in metaphorical sense, throws light where ignorance reigns. For that reason, the owl is holy to the goddess of wisdom Athena.

It's obvious that I like pin up girls, I talked about them in a previous post here in my blog. Take a look at this site with so many pin up images from several famous artist. It's well organized and so useful as reference for your work even :)

My first Oil Colours Set

Yes, I want to learn how to use oil colours. I got this set yesterday, it would have cost 40€ but some months ago, I won the first prize of a contest held by a town near here. It's worth 150€ and it can be spent in a paint-shop. However for a beginner as me it's a good outfit.

Where my name takes its origin

As you can see, my name is Noemi. I really like my name (thanks mum!! :D). When I was a child, here in italy it was a rare name. Infact, when people asked me "What your name?", and I answered to them, they said to me: "What?" but after I repeated my name they said: "Wow, that's beautiful". I'm so proud of that! Anyway my name has an interesting origin, that personally I love. In Hebrew can be translated as Naamah. I fell in love with it at once so I decided to take it as nickname.

Well, it's explained how it is born now. :)

Naamah or Na'amah (comes from Hebrew: נעמה‎) is a demonic legendary creature, the mother of divination. How she became a demon is unclear.

Naamah is used as a female given name in contemporary Israel. Literally, it means "Pleasant One".

This name is borne in the Old Testament by both a daughter of Lamech and a wife of Solomon. Some later Jewish texts give Naamah as the name of Noah's wife, even though she is not named in the Old Testament.

The Queen of the Damned

I've started The Queen of the Damned from Anne Rice a few days ago. I read the books before it (Interview with the Vampire and The Vampire Lestat) about one year ago if I remember right. And now I want to finish the whole Vampire Chronicles. I love so much how Mrs. Rice writes, ;) she portrays so well characters, landscapes... everything! It's because her books involve me a lot.
